Show Notes

Deep in every person’s heart is a desire to be connected with others, to be known and accepted, to be united with family and friends. As Christians, we often feel the tug for unity but lack an understanding of how to achieve it. This teaching explores the subject of unity from the three perspectives in Scripture: Unity of the Spirit, Unity of the Faith, and Unity of Fellowship.

Verses: Eph. 1:9-10; 4:1-3; John 13:35; 17:11; 1 John 1:3

Understanding Healing in its Biblical Context

God loves us and wants us to be in good health. However, healing is a gift that is received by trust; it is not a right that we can demand.  In light of that fact, this teaching explains the patron-client relationship of trust, the figure of speech called the prophetic perfect, and the practice we call Communion.   Verses: Luke 10:4; Heb. 4:16; 11:6; Matt. 7:7; Num. 24:17; Jude 1:12, 14-15; Eph. 2:6-7; 1 Pet. 2:24; 1 Cor. 11:17-31   Teacher: John Schoenheit  ...
