Show Notes

The “wedding banquet of the Lamb” is spoken of in Revelation 19 and Isaiah 25, and is a topic of much misinterpretation. This teaching demonstrates that this banquet is part of the celebration of the inauguration of Jesus Christ as king over the earth at the start of the Millennial Kingdom. All saved people will enjoy this banquet with the King of Kings.

The Fruit of the Spirit

Jesus Christ exemplified godly character and every Christian should aspire to be like him. If we set a target or goal of being like Christ, our behavior will exhibit the fruit of the spirit as listed in Galatians 5:22-23.  This fruit is the essential character of Christ, his nature.  This teaching briefly examines the characteristics of the 9 listed fruits, also pointing out that the list is not exhaustive.  Verses: Gal. 5:16-26; 2 Pet. 1:4; Phil. 2:13; 3:1; Col. 1:27; Matt. 5:44; Exod. 23:4; 1 Thess. 5:16; Ps. 23:4-5   Teacher: John Schoenheit  ...

Joy and Forgiveness

Suffering is a universal problem, and almost as universal is the hurt, anger, resentment, and bitterness that can accompany or follow suffering. The Apostle Paul suffered as a prisoner in Rome, yet he wrote, “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you.” If we are going to have joy in life we must let go of unforgiveness and resentment.  Verses: Acts 9:4; 2 Cor. 1:5; 5:10; Phil. 3:10; 1 Peter 4:13; Rom. 8:22-27, 32; Matt. 5:11-12; Col. 1:24  Teacher: John Schoenheit  ...
