Show Notes

This teaching covers the concept of free will in the Bible and Christian life, exploring God’s interplay with us as we choose day-to-day whether to honor God and do His will, or to simply accomplish our own agenda. All decisions, good or bad, have consequences. Godly choices lead to Godly results. His desire for us is to voluntarily choose to love Him and be a part of His family.

Verses: 1 Tim. 2:3-4; Phil. 2:13; Rom. 7:15-25; 8:1-4; 10:9-13; 2 Tim. 4:8; Gal. 6:7; Matt. 6:9-10; 26:30-34

What is True Discipleship?

This teaching identifies a six-step biblical pattern that gives structure to the process of moving from being a new follower of Christ to becoming a mature and empowered disciple who acts in Christ’s stead, having been delegated that authority by Christ.   Verses: Matt 5:10; 6:24; 10:37-38; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; Acts 5:33-38; 14:23; 22:3; Eph. 5:1; Phil 3:7; John 9:34; 2 Cor. 7:1; Rom 12:1-2; Heb. 11:1-27; 12:2  Teacher: Gary Theisen  ...

Walking in Wisdom

We learn from the example of King Solomon that we need godly character in order to walk in godly wisdom year after year. Wisdom will show us the right path to choose, but it is by godly character that we are able to carry out wise choices.    Verses: Prov. 2:6-10; 4:7; 11:2; Lev. 26:18-19; 1 Kings 3:5-12, 27-28; 8:60; 9:1-4; 10:7, 14-15, 18-21, 23-24, 26-28; 11:1-3; 4:3; Rom. 14:12; Eph. 5:3; Deut. 17:15-20  Teacher: Dan Gallagher  ...
